Baby Layouts

Here are a couple of layouts from my scrapbooks.  The first one is me at about 5 weeks old. I didn't do much with this except for a couple embellishments and some pearls on the "Once Upon A Time".
The layout of my grandsons includes rub-ons, embellishments and some torn paper with vellum attached and a rub-on on top.  I also added a "W" for William and a "J" for James and a couple of heart brads.  Let me know what you think.

Peachy Keen Stamps

I will admit that some of my favorite stamps are from Peachy Keen!  I have a couple of sets that I purchased and a couple of sets I have won. I use them all the time with cards and layouts I also made some paper dolls for my granddaughter and used the face stamps on them. Check out the Peachy Keen website for a great chance to win some new stamps - and maybe order some while you are there! This photo shows the treat bags I made for the grand kids at Halloween.  I used Cricut cartridges Paper Doll Dress Up and Stretch Your Imagination. Then I just added different faces! Cute and the kids liked them!

Another Project

Happy Tuesday!  Tonight I was babysitting 2 grandsons - one with an ear infection. Yuck!  Tried to watch NCIS - Mark Harmon. Yum! Didn't get to scrap, but did want to post this picture. I made this cute card with my Cricut Imagine.  I was able to use the scallop and the onesie included on the machine. Then I layered the skunk scene from Nursery Tales on top of the onesie. I pop dotted the onesie to add some dimension and stickled the skunk.  I added rhinestones for snaps on the onesie.  I was pleased with this early attempt with my Imagine. More to come! Thanks for looking!

Two Cool Grandsons!

This is a layout I made this afternoon featuring two of my grandsons.  The pictures are over a year old and I'm just now scrapping them! I've got to do better than that! They wanted to be in the scrapbook so they got some sunglasses and proceeded to pose for me!  The diaper, pacifier, and sunglasses are priceless!

A Few Projects

I decided to pull out a few things I have made previously.  These mini-albums were on a youtube video I ran across while searching mini-albums.  Very easy to make! Search for "Fabulously Artsy" by "The Stamp Goddess". She has several very nice tutorials.  The layout is my sweet Greta. She has her very own scrapbook! This was her first time seeing snow and she loved it! See the snow on her muzzle? She was busily poking her nose into the snow and then shaking her head to get it off!  Cold! :)

Shopping Day!

Today was crafty shopping with Mom and oldest daughter. We hit several craft shops and had lunch at Olive Garden. Yum! My best score was a huge cardstock stack of Core'dinations for $15!!  I also bought the i-rock heat setting tool and used a 40% off coupon so it only cost $9!  Tomorrow is "play with the new stuff" day!

This is a 12 x 12 layout I did of myself as a baby. The photo was old and damaged so I tried to cover some of it with framing borders and flowers.  The paper is K & Co. I have no idea where I got the flowers! I'll try to do better with keeping track of the supplies I use!

Beach Boy!

This is one of the grandsons at the beach last summer. He had never seen the ocean before but, as you can see, he jumped right in! Now all he talks about is going back again! I kept taking pictures as the tide came in. I love how this turned out He was so unconcerned about the water getting deeper! I used DCWV's Tahiti stack to create this layout. I cut "beach boy" from the Pooh Font cartridge using the marker font. The hibiscus flowers were hand cut from a page in the stack.

Easter

This is the mess on my scrap table! I have used core'dinations cardstock in spring colors to create a lovely Easter collage! Some of this will end up as cards; while some (the bunnies) will become treat bag toppers for the grandkids. Cute aren't they!  I used the Easter 2010 Cricut cartridge for these cuts.

DCWV Blog!

A quick post to tell you about a great blog that I have been following for a while.  It is the DCWV blog from the company that creates all that great cardstock and paper we love to use! There is also a chance to win some great paper prizes!  Check out www.dcwvinc.blogspot.com  I'll also make a link on my sidebar.
